Uni-Screw
Announces Testing Results
January 29, 2007: Uni-Screw, LLC
announced today the completion of comprehensive testing that confirms
you DO save money using Uni-Screw vs. traditional drive methods.
Renee J. Breazeale, Uni-Screw, LLC CEO, announced the results which show
boat builders total costs are using the Uni-Screw drive system.
Extensive testing with major U.S. boat builders demonstrated that on
23-36' boats, the Uni-Screw only increases hard costs from $0.62 to
$11.35 per boat. When manufacturers "soft costs" savings
are included, builders using Uni-Screw actually saved money on each boat
manufactured versus traditional drive methods. Soft costs, defined
specifically by each manufacturer, include but are not limited to,
waste, increased productivity losses, and decreased worker fatigue.
In addition to the total cost savings, the Uni-Screw drive system
provides better aesthetics than traditional drive systems on the market
today.
The Uni-Screw drive system is uniquely designed and has limitless
applications. Features include: "One Bit Does It All",
stick fit, cam-out (stripping) virtually eliminated, high torque
transfer , faster drive times, exceptional directional stability,
decreased worker fatigue, increased and consistent productivity, less
waste, and cost effectiveness. The revolutionary drive system can
be used in all head styles, all thread types, and in all materials.
